This
summer I have played with my friends Elizabeth & Skyler. Sometimes we go camping, play with toys, and
mess up my room. I learned how to ride a
two-wheeler this summer. Pretty cool –
huh! I’m going to be in 1st
grade this summer and I’m so excited. My
teacher’s name is Mrs. Turpin.

This
summer, I was playing with Ashley. My best friend. I
like to play with her. We were playing a game and we where acting weird, and my
other friend was over and her name was Alyssa. And she played with us. We
played a game that Ashley was a dog, Alyssa was the Mom, and, I was the
daughter and we were being really weird. And sooner or later, Alyssa had to go
home. Then Ashley and me were playing after dinner,
and we played the same game. Ashley hit me in the nose on accident, and I got a
bloody nose. Ashley started to say “how did I do that!”

This
summer I walked to Target with my friends almost 20 times.
The
first thing we do when we get there is go to Wendy’s
and get a frosty and fries. Then we walk down to Albertson’s to get a drink
from the vending machine. After that we walk to target and spend most of our
time in the game section where you can play PS3 and Xbox-360. Most of the games
are fun. After that we go to the candy section and buy some candy. After we
leave target we go to Papa Murphy’s and buy cookie dough. We eat the cookie
dough then walk back home.J

Hey guys!!! So… this summer I did
summer gym. It was about 3 weeks… for a few hours a day, and it was totally
worth it! I went to Oakcrest (A form of girls camp) and then ward girls camp, where we got
pedicures. It was quite nice. I got to spend a week at efy.
It was amazing!!! I met some awesome people, and heard some awesome stories and
lessons and whatnot. Through out the summer I’ve been volunteering at our
school. That’s been pretty interesting. A lady in our ward works there, and
they needed help. The bonus was I got to see my schedule weeks before anyone
got theirs, and I know a bunch of stuff about the new teachers that they’ve
been hiring. As for my future plans… I joined the
marching band. I’m going to be in PIT, or percussion or whatever it’s supposed
to be called. I’m planning on trying out for any special choir our new choir
teacher will be doing, and I am most likely going to try out for the ninth
grade basketball team. I’m totally excited for everything. I love you all, and
I hope to see you soon!!!

I
started off the summer with Driver’s Ed and was hauling myself out of bed
earlier than I had for school; hardly a fair start to the summer. But as soon
as that was over I just hung around home. July we went to girl’s camp, which
was probably the best girl’s camp I’ve ever gone to. And a couple weeks ago
marching band officially started (tenor sax, for those of you who didn’t know),
so my tan line on my ankle is very hard to miss. That’s going to be my main
focus for the next few months.
